This summer as a way to stay connected many people are opening up their homes, meeting at coffee shops and other places for intentional discussion groups. Many of these groups will center around the topic of unity from a holistic perspective. Some will read through and discuss books, listen to podcast, study books of the Bible and more. Hope you can get connected. Here is a list of groups and discussions with contact info for more details.
The Gospel comes with a house key by Rosaria Butterfield
Practicing Radically Ordinary Hospitality in Our Post-Christian world, by Rosaria Butterfield. I think that Hospitality is at the heart of Unity, and that Hospitality is our means of loving our world around us. For more info and to sign up please contact Jamie Holdren firstname.lastname@example.org, and I’ll hopefully be doing Monday at 6:00 pm. Location TBD.
Paul Tripp’s book Parenting with us.
The Mazur’s would love to open our home up for anyone who would like to read with us. It’s not a step by step guide on how to raise kids but rather how the gospel shapes our parenting. We would welcome kiddos to attend too! It would be Saturday mornings at our home off 16th st and Glendale. We mostly likely will meet twice a month. For more info and to sign up please contact Randell at: email@example.com
THE BOOK OF TITUS,
Holding on to Integrity @ Fitzmaurices 44th st and Camelback. 7pm Thursdays (no childcare sadly 😭) The purpose is just for anyone who wants to learn how study scripture and learn practical study steps to learn scripture instead of saying “what the heck did I just read?” For more info and to sign please contact Kaylie at: firstname.lastname@example.org
“Grace Walk” by Steve Mcvey
Hi my friends, I would like to restudy “Grace Walk” by Steve Mcvey at my house on Thursdays 7-8:30. We often forget that God sustains our Christian walk by his grace, not our works. It is a book of freedom and offers great chats. I’m located by Washington Park. To join this book club please contact Susan @ email@example.com
