A number of opportunities and ways to be a part of Redemption Alhambra.
Foster Care & Adoption
There is an orphan crisis around the world. Children who have lost parents, been abandoned by parents, or been taken out of dangerous environments, are in need of stable homes and loving families. Therefore we, the people of God, must lead the way in recognizing this great need and stepping up to meet it.
We strongly believe that all members of the body of Christ are sent people, called to proclaim and demonstrate the gospel to the world. Therefore our community and global efforts should never be limited to structured programs. However, in response to the needs in our community, and God's heart for the nations, we do build global partnerships and facilitate opportunities to participate in God's mission of blessing the nations in Christ.
WELCOME TO REDEMPTION KIDS!!
We are so excited to have the opportunity to serve your family and we can’t wait to tell your kids all about Jesus! The crafts we make, the lessons we teach, the snacks we serve, the worship we sing…..it’s all about Jesus! ! We are going through an amazing curriculum called The Gospel Project. Every week we will
learn a new story, that’s part of God’s amazing story, always pointing back us to Jesus. !
We believe that students are an important, integral part of the body of Christ and we recognize that the teenage years can be some of the most challenging and formative in a person's life. We desire to support parents by providing a community that values teenagers and models the beauty and truth of God's word to them. With the diversity of our congregations, ministering to students takes on different forms from one Redemption congregation to another.
We believe that God designed us to be in relationship with one another and that there is simply no substitute for doing life with others in a shared pursuit of honoring God. Redemption Communities provide a context for people to live out their faith in the support, accountability, and stretching that is inherent in community.
Redemption Communities (RCs) are leader facilitated and typically meet in homes. Activities vary from group to group and week to week but may involve any combination of eating, learning, playing, sharing, celebrating, praying, and serving.
We are a sent people. As the church we are not called to turn inward and build our own kingdom. We are called to turn outward and give ourselves to the spread of the Gospel, the establishment of healthy local churches, and the multiplication of disciples. This is a call to invest beyond our church, beyond our tribe, and beyond our generation. We don’t care who gets the credit, only that Jesus is glorified.
