Sunday Service will live-stream at 10 am - Be sure to follow these tips so you are prepared to engage and interact
TIP # 1: Pray
These are troubling times and our hope is to serve our family as best as we can, guided by the Spirit of God and we are thankful that he has provided the resources to connect, encourage, and bless others. Let’s thank Him for his good gifts and ask that he bless our Sunday times together, regardless of whether we are connected in person or digitally.
TIP # 2: Read & Meditate on the Lord’s Prayer
We have pressed pause on our CounterCultural Convictions series and have begun a new series, walking through Jesus’ teaching on prayer.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
TIP # 3: Have a Bible, Notepad, and Pen Ready
The Bible is God’s Word and powerful. It is important for all believers to read it as it is taught, but also to be prepared to write down what God may be speaking to you for sharing or personal study later on.
TIP # 4: Make sure your internet and devices are working
Just a simple, practical step. Check everything now to avoid any technical issues later on. The good news is that if issues are experienced, the service may still be viewed at a later time, just not live.
TIP # 5: Buy elements for Communion (Bread & Juice/Wine) Today
Communion is a consistent part of our liturgy at Redemption Alhambra and it will be taken on Sunday during the stream. In order to interact more fully, we highly recommend getting some juice/wine and some bread to participate from your home.
TIP # 6: Prepare to Interact rather than simply observe the service
Although you will be viewing the service through a screen, we will not be considering this the same as watching a television show or movie, but an opportunity for God’s people to still connect, albeit digitally, and we hope that you are singing, interacting online through the streaming comment section, lifting hands, and giving good ol’ fashioned “Amen!” as the Lord leads. Don’t be shy to stand or kneel.
TIP # 7: Follow our accounts on Facebook, Youtube, and Vimeo
Streaming will be through these platforms, so be sure to have access to all of them to ensure you do not miss the stream.
We wish we could worship and fellowship with you all in person, but we are thankful that God has blessed us with the tools to connect in this way. Please share this with your RC’s, your ministry groups, and anyone else who calls Redemption Alhambra home!
